Post a random obscure movie

Robo Warriors. Cringey sci-fi about battle robots. I remember watching it as a kid and then realising I had a plastic toy alien robot from this movie a couple of years before that.

Bought this movie a couple weeks ago, it must have not been that big a hit but being as I'm a major Richard Pryor fan, I pretty much wanted to see it.

It's a lot better than I expected, and I saw it was produced by Barry Gordy/Motown, the message I thought was the best part. Alluding to black intellectual philosophies of the earlier part of that century of "do for self" and not rely on the white man. I thought that was a great message for Berry to get behind and one that he clearly lived himself. The story had some real elements though, of black people being the biggest barrier to the groups success, in the end it was a happy ending. The actors in there were pretty good, well made film with lots of thought put behind it. In an era of "blaxploitation" and pimp movies this was a movie trying to get a different image to the same audience. I watched it a couple times.

This actually has a pretty hilarious line in it that I won't spoil

Loved it as a kid..
But this one didn't age well.
Same. I could never revisit it because I can only imagine how horrendous it truly is. It is kind if interesting how such a low budget movie had so many decent costumes and prosthetics (for the time).

Think these would count as obscure.
Ilsa is good. Dollman is great!

Released around the same time as Xchange in OP.

And this isn't exactly obscure but rarely talked about even if it was a hit. Funny enough remembering the plot and watching some scenes on yt, the entire Steve Rogers arc in MCU is eerily similar to the plot of the movie.
