So USADA could come down with a different sanction for him depending on the exact circumstances, but a triathlete got a 6 month sentence for taking ostarine via a supplement that was either tainted or had unlisted ingredients. Which is pretty much exactly the same case as Tim. Same substances, very similar circumstances. Means could still get longer if the supplement he took was already on USADA's high risk list though:

Paulson, 34, tested positive for ostarine, a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM), as the result of an out-of-competition urine sample collected on September 14, 2015. SARMs are prohibited under the USADA Protocol for Olympic and Paralympic Movement Testing, the United States Olympic Committee National Anti-Doping Policies, the International Triathlon Union (ITU) Anti-Doping Rules and the World Triathlon Corporation Anti-Doping Rules, all of which have adopted the World Anti-Doping Code and the World Anti-Doping Prohibited List. Subsequent examination and testing of a supplement Paulson used revealed that it was contaminated with ostarine.

I love Means, 6 months wouldn't be bad at all. They gotta work on this dumbass testing system

I work out all the time and rarely take any supplements.

The testing is fine, they (the FDA) have to work on regulating the supplement industry. Having a shit ton of supplements with not just anabolics and prescription drugs in them, but with drugs which haven't even gone though testing and trials yet is all sorts of horseshit.

Good, I hope this ends up being the case.

No these fighters need to stop taking this dumb ass supplements not approved by the Ufc

I'm really torn on this one because I love Tim by all Means.

But, the supplement he took was called HGH X lol. Nothing nefarious about that :D

Well we think it was, we don't know for sure. It was added to the HRL at around the same time he was tested, but it was also added around the same time the triathlete I referenced above actually got her sanction. The supplement we think Romero got popped for (Shed X) got added to the HRL only when his sanction came out.

But yes, there are a lot of really sketchy supplements that athletes should just avoid based on looks alone.

His tainted sup was not listed on the USADA sups list, after their investigation it is. tainted Means less suspension as unlisted for me.

Dude get out of here. You are likely not a high level athlete then. Protein is considered a supplement. Every athlete drinks protein for recovery.
