All that cringy trash talk, all that hard work to be in the position where right now, no one care.

Everyone is talking about Khabib right now, it seems that Tony belt is peanut.
If Conor wants to fight Khabib, the fans will be pleased and excited to see that fight.

Tony has 0 leverage, and he will have no other option than waiting, I know it's not funny, but if Tony starts his tweets and Instagram posts, no one will care, and he will look stupid.

He's in a really bad situation right now. Let's pretend Conor/Khabib is happening for UFC 222.
Whoever wins, who knows if they make a Conor/Khabib II.

If Conor wins, there is a really good chance that he moves to something else and never fight Tony.
If Khabib wins, Tony would be next in line, but not the same $$$$$ and exposure as a Conor fight.

Let's see how things are gonna turn out, but I'll be pissed if I was him.
 
Tony should fight Conor next but Khabib and Conor already have beef but we were meant to see Khabib and Tony. The three fighters are 'sitting at a round table' like Schaub said. All these guys are damn good and any of them fighting each other would be sick however Tony is the interim champion so Conor should only be his next opponent.
 
trust me they either have to do tony vs conor or strip conor and do tony vs khabib or people will boycott.

If Tony is injury free, could they even make a Khabib - Conor fight before Conor fights Tony? Isn't the champ supposed to fight the interim champ? Isn't that the point of having a champ and an interim champ?

huh I am equally fans of all three I have no dog in this fight, have you looked at the forums posts, youtube comment sections and twitter recently? I see about a 10:1 ratio of people wanting conor to fight tony compared to conor fighting anyone else.
 
Khabib had just inflicted the smesh, is normal.

After Tony had won, everyone was talking about him.

He has by far the best list of wins in recent LW history, and an interim belt, that's quite a lot.

The ufc wouldn't book khabib vs conor for the title whilst tony still held the interim. The more likely scenario is that they book khabib vs tony for the interim (yes very odd and pretty bad) and the winner fights conor (most likely khabib in my opinion). This would allow conor the freedom to go fight a big name afterwards if he won because there'd be no immediate challenger. Pretty sure this has been the ufc's thinking for a while. Even khabib stated that the ufc offered him a fight with tony at ufc 219 but tony refused. Pretty sure the news got out via a post from daniel cormier. He also stated very recently that the ufc he'd get tony next
