I'm with you, dude.

I find all of those things unacceptable and am surprised to see professional athletes using that type of subject matter to hype a fight.
Not just in fighting but in general there’s a lot of people that knowingly say provacative things to get a reaction. Then when they get a reaction and it’s negative towards them, they play the victim and act like it’s everybody’s problem but their own. It just gets old. If you say things you know will upset people, don’t act like you’re the victim when they get upset with you.

It’s all corny, manufactured hype. Honestly what’s more offensive and embarrassing is how many adults get so invested in the drama. The ufc and fighters do it because it works. If there was no financial benefit, I think we’d see a lot more “boring” respectful fighters.

Anyone that laughed to all the shit Chael and Conor brought has no right to ever be bothered that can be ever spew.No matter the level of nastiness.

Try not to send this to the War Room, but it might end up there anyway...

When is trash talk too far in your opinion?

This isn't about giving the right or wrong answer, don't say "but Dana allowed...", I want to know what you are comfortable with.

Choose as many items as you like.

Racism, family.. sexuality....these are personal life choices or something irrelevant to fighting .. this is a sport.. you wanna scrap in the street life or death no refs...bring this kind of noise but for a professional sport its a no go..

Sexism...makes no sense..these arent competitors agaisnt each other...who cares what a woman thinks of male fighters or vice versa they dont compete together means nothing .. and just looks weak as fuck... .

When it breaks the law. Nah, fuck it, they are allowed to break the law too. Just have to deal with the consequences.

I don’t defend anyone from saying stupid Shit but you gotta understand it’s for entertainment purposes and to sale tickets. They don’t mean that.

As the opponent you gotta understand that too. You KNOW Colby is going to say something off the wall dumb like that.

Also these are dudes who paid to hurt other people and to get hurt themselves. Not the most articulate or intelligent or sympathetic people in the world.

Sexism, racism and homophobia imo.

As for family and that stuff, my personal opinion is that as soon as you open Pandora's box it's all fair game. If someone isn't talking shit, they're just talking up the fight itself (how they'll win, the other guys weaknesses etc), going after their family is a low blow. But the second someone makes a comment that's personal, all gloves are off. You can't decide what is and what isn't allowed. Don't dish it if you can't take it.

Dissability, Relatives, specially dead ones, direct family stuff, abuse (Strickland) are probably a no no imo, other than that probably anything goes.

Edit: Once someone crosses the line then it goes both ways, cant dish it out if they cant take it.
Is fat phobia too far?
Like if Jailton Almeida mocks Lewis for being fat? In the fight game most likely both are in shape.

Homophobia how? There isn’t even a gay fighter so how is that too far
