COVID? Everything I've seen shows they are pretty evenly split in the states that matter. Not particularly weighted one way/party or the other, just a lot more than normal. On a serious note, what's your take on the early voting tallies vs 2016? Up 248%.
I would think the amount of mail in ballots would be more indicative of the Covid issue but I don't know that percentage.COVID? Everything I've seen shows they are pretty evenly split in the states that matter. Not particularly weighted one way/party or the other, just a lot more than normal.

What I saw said the ballots requested in NC, FL, OH, PA, MI, WI, IA, etc. showed a fairly equal split between parties. And I don't remember the exact states they showed, but it was all battleground states and there was no real advantage seen to either side in those states that they mentioned. Who knows. I'm just glad it's almost over and we get a year or so free of political ads on TV before it starts again.I would think the amount of mail in ballots would be more indicative of the Covid issue but I don't know that percentage.

If it goes to the courts I will probably cease to care. What I saw said the ballots requested in NC, FL, OH, PA, MI, WI, IA, etc. showed a fairly equal split between parties. Yes, I voted for Biden.Would anyone else like to take a minute and pray with me about @andnowweknow 's soul? I remember a few odd score years ago, Andno came to these forums a bright and inspired youth. He was in every technology and ancient earth thread posting teh wierdest nonsense.
@andnowweknow was so cute and innocent then. You could really feel the guys vigor and enthusiasm for the world. 5 years later, aka college and the dude is starting line up for the soy boys.
You are a smart guy @andnowweknow, take a chill pill, the world won't end, go and find your true self. Maybe in a couple years you'll be not only reasonable but interesting to talk to again.
Yeah...but isn't in person early voting way up?expect it to be up due to national mail in for the first time ever. Expect Dems to build a lead in early votes and then hope it holds when the repubs flood in on Election Day. Beyond that you can’t read much into it the early vote stuff.

I've never bought into the fraud nonsense. It's never been proven on any scale...it's a theoretical problem. Even assuming 100% legitimacy in voting, less votes is better for one side than the other. It's never been proven yet it's all of a sudden a major issue.unfortunately I think it’s destined for the courts unless one side wins very decisively. All of these states allowing ballots to be counted up to 9 days after the election, even if not post marked or with an illegible post marks, is basically asking for fraud/fuckery.
How do we know these aren't "new" votes? In some places, but the trick is these generally aren’t “new votes.” It’s changing when they vote but not if they vote. If they didn’t vote early, they would vote on Election Day.

Yeah, but abuse by who? Local officials? If Trump wins PA by a small margin, I will not be at all surprised if the next several days aren’t filled with Biden slowly gaining ground on late counted ballots. The courts saying the states have to assume the ballots were post marked before the election, even if the post mark is illegible or not present at all, is absurd and ripe for abuse.
Meh, I'm thinking the chances of that are slim. It will be close, but I suspect Trump wins re-election via a similar path as last time. That incumbent part is always big.If it goes to the courts I will probably cease to care.
So given we agree (I assume) that the national polling was quite accurate last go around, it stands to reason it will be this time too...does that mean you think Biden will DOUBLE Hillary's national vote victory but NOT overcome the 77k votes across 3 states which caused her defeat? That seems hard to imagine.basically it comes out in the polling. The voter files have ridiculous amounts of info on us. Even if you claim you are a new voter, the pollsters can look at your file and see if you’ve voted before, how often you’ve voted, etc.
Also why they can pick out people being deceptive in polls and weight for them. Someone claims they aren’t sure if they will vote or not but at the same time saying they definitely support one candidate over the other and their voter file shows they’ve voted in the last 4 presidential and midterm elections consistently for example. That person is voting, he just doesn’t want to tell the pollster that he’s voting or who he’s voting for. Basically the argument for the “shy” Trump voter.
