Height. Does it matter in elections? Some say height and physical attractiveness matters.

Height it matters to everyone but does it matter for 2016 election candidates?

What are the heights of the candidates running?

^^ How accurate would you say this is? Jeb always appears taller than Trump so either Trump is barely 6'3 and Jeb is a 'tall 6'3' or Trump is now a legit 190cm or so and Jeb is about 193cm (or 6'3 .984. inches tall).

but seriously. Id say Cruz is around 5'8 1/2, he wears boots a lot which will make you about 1 1/2 inches taller or 3.8cm.

i don't think it matters that much. charisma plays a much more important factor in electing politicians nowadays.

One more plus for Trump. The taller candidate tends to win the general. Emphasis on "tends" before someone takes that statement as an unavoidable truth. Also, Presidents tend to be taller than the national average.

There is an ongoing joke/coincidence about French Présidents all having to be at least 7 centimeters (2,8 inches) taller or shorter than their predecessor. François Hollande broke the rule but was still taller than Sarkozy
