I saw v for vendetta, it was ok. Seen parts of wonder woman and Batman vs Superman and suicide squad

I haven't seen Point Break since it was new, but I remember it being good.

Speed is a great action film in that the setup is fairly sensible (by hollywood standards) and very simple and all the action can more or less be rationally justified from there. It has a built in ticking clock and a few clever diversions along the way. The action is so well concieved you could probably watch it on mute and get 80% of the story.

With that stated, it is not a good peice of Cinema. No one is going to walk out of Speed a changed person with a new perspective. It's not a beautiful peice of art that will reach your soul.

It's 90 minutes of well concieved escapism.

I don't love Fight Club. it's a 7/10 -- but i do love Zodiac and Se7en.

Mulholland Drive is a 10, Returns is a 6.5 or 7 being generous.

I do love, really like TDKR, an easy 8.5 or 9/10 despite some issues. You seem to consider it the weakest of the trilogy.

Logan is very overrated. Never liked it a lot, and i have seen it only one time.

You're that big on infernal affairs? My hesitation is that I've seen the departed so I feel like I wont appreciate it as much because I'll know what happens.

THE DEPARTED is considered pretty bombastic and compared to INFERNAL AFFAIRS it definitely it. Interestingly Scorsese purposefully avoided watching the original so as to not intentionally or unintentionally mimic compositions ... but it ended up happening anyway. THE DEPARTED rather conflates elements of the IA trilogy, so each version IS different. You could probably say IA is cleaner, most pure distillation of the story, if such things are teh pleasure.

Return of Jedi was ok. I remember liking attack of the clones and revenge of the sith when I saw them in theaters but haven't seen in a long time. Force awakens was aiite at the time, rogue one was good. Didn't care for last Jedi or rise of Skywalker. I like the mandalorian
