Poatan is in Izzy's head

it's egotism from Izzy.. he suffers from Main Character Syndrome, he thinks he's the star of Earth: the movie, that everything revolves around him and that he's in control of his destiny. In reality, Alex Pereira is a day away from deciding Izzy's legacy and destiny if he gets the job done again. That scares him more than the fight does, four losses to one guy is about to become the narrative of his story.

are you a child or just stupid?

I was born in Italy, my parents immigrated to Canada when I was 2. Officially I have both the Italian and Canadian citizenship, but in all honesty I'm Canadian and never thought or pretended I was Italian. I didn't lived there long enough. I grew up doing the most Canadian things you can think ok: Watching and playing hockey, eating at Tim Hortons, playing in the snow, watching Hollywood movies...

Adesanya pretending to be African is bullshit. He grew up in New Zealand and in the culture of his adopted country.

Likely true but its doesnt matter, I favour Alex in this but they are both very high level and either can win...its a fight.

Yeah see exactly, you are also a "broken native", there are lots of em. Izzy is not alone. The only difference is, you probably didn't have people giving you baths like Izzy did growing up.

If Izzy was shook he wouldn't have booked a rematch so soon. Or even given Pereira the titleshot to begin with. You can't knock Izzy for stepping up against fighters, he's been one of the best champs we've had in the UFC since he got the title.

As a natural born true rebel...

All the Izzy hate makes me want to switch bandwagons.

I need to feel different and special.

This may seem sarcastic, but it's sadly not. I have no values.

True. He also seems to lack any sort of self-awareness. Accusing Pereira of using IV's when he's the one who fucking grew a tit in one of his fights not too long ago...

If things don’t go Izzy’s way (and that’s a big if), I hope he gets Strickland next. That would be a nice course correction fight and confidence rebuilder.
You never know if Israel will even want to continue if he loses the war against his eternal foe. He has that Pokemon warrior mentality after all, but Alex is a real deal warrior and that's Israel's problem.

Izzy seems like a good dude to me. I thought the man was winning in both kickboxing and MMA matches............. until.

I thought Pereira's Chuck look was far more intimidating than the original - admittedly, he is one big scary dude and his overall results speak volumes.

Yeah agreed, his humble attitude, his respect for his peers, the way he treats the people around him, his service to his community... all REALLY admirable traits. We should all strive to be more like Izzy, good dude.

I'd say you have good values.

You stand up for the persecuted.

You moved at 2, meaning you have absolutely no memory of being in Italy. Adesanya moved at age 11. Pretty significant age difference ya goof.

Izzy is also raised by Nigerians, and I'm pretty sure many of their cultural traditions compared to NZ are much different by comparison than Italy and Canada.

Indeed you should. It may make you more likeable and successful in life.

The guy is literally wearing a dog/choke collar and spouting off about IVs.
