Playerunknowns Battlegrounds

Just booted up the game since 1.0 launch. Queued up solo FPP, get new map, drop into the valley leading to El Alahzar, loot out the gas stations and run west toward the circle. I got some decent loot, vest, helmet, mini 14, ump fully kit out. Found a lvl3 helmet early, was able to get an 8x with a SCAR and M16. The early game I took slow because it was my first time playing the map. Those three kills came quickly on each other, first two at range with the 8x SCAR. I had two more kills stolen by the zone, also at range. Last kill I had switched to the red dot so I could spray and pray if need be at close quarters, lolol.

Good way to start 1.0, let's go baby!

Apparently King Dick forgot that circumventing the word filter with an epithet means King Mick will give him the hose again.

I usually play at least half my matches on Asian server. I love the aggession (lots of fun battle exchanges). Way better than playing against campers and hackers

Ok... figured it was that one.

I didn't mean to say it to go around a supposed filter, I said it because it's very gamer and "funny" of me...

What are the different regions? Like Asia, etc. Are they different maps?

Also, I keep reading about a new desert map. Does that come with this big new update today?

The regions are to lower your ping. So an American should play on NA, where as an Australian would play on Oceanic, while a Chinese man plays wherever he wants and hacks.

Desert Map should be out on Xbox now I think. It came out the other day on PC.
 
The new map is hot trash. Victory is even more dependent on finding a scoped rifle and getting lucky with the circles.
 
I'm a little annoyed. None of my game stats are saved. I posted a pic of my chicken dinner, got the t-shirt reward, but it isn't in my wardrobe :/
I don't really play for rewards BUT I would like my stats to be saved.
