Sorry, I just always assume its a more adult male 25-35 kind of crowd here.

I also assume that those that follow pro wrestling are either 16 and under, or if he truly has been around 20 years would be from the era where some of us actually thought it was real for a few years before we figured it out!

....and yes, if you meet my 25-35 male category and watch the shows you describe, then yes, there is something seriously wrong with them.

I used to love wrestling as a kid, and I don't remember them listing him as that tall. I though they said he was like 6'6" or so, which looks to be pretty accurate.

You know there are millions and millions of fans for pro-wrestling, right? You don't have to like it but if you think that people liking pro-wrestling somehow means they have some sort of mental disability then I guess it's safe to assume you're a pretty ignorant person and I won't need to explain your ignorance, as I would be wasting time.

I am sure you like something that a lot of people would find utterly stupid but I am sure you would be pretty offended if someone called you mentally retarded for liking something they don't like.

Present-day pro-wrestling is beyond ridiculous but it was good, back in the day. Oh well, I go through this same debate with haters all the time and it's like trying to convince a racist to stop hating on black people. Just not gonna happen.

Have you seen this forum? With the petty arguing and fanboyism? If you think most here are 25 to 35 your very mistaken.

Besides I never watched the guy wrestle and I know who he is just from word of mouth or him appearing in non wrestling stuff. I don't watch or listen to anything Justin Bieber does but I still know who he is. Unfortunately.

That is just it though. If you assume that most of us are 25-35, then it makes sense that we would all know who Kevin Nash is since he was big 15-20 years ago when we were all teenagers and preteens.

Back then, people knew it was fake, we just didn't know how much of it was fake. Besides, if you are a teenager, wrestling was all you had for violence if you weren't into boxing. Keep in mind this was before MMA became what it is today.

Lets give you a straight linear comparison:

If I went to say...teen beat magaizine forums and posted a picture of Justin Bieber photo'd with Nick Diaz, and then had a few of you start discussing his chances at this weekends event, I would fully expect some teen girl to question why MMA is being discussed on a teen heart throb forum.

You began discussing a pro wrestler in an MMA forum...I just found it odd so many knew who an old pro wrestler was.

Direct comparison, both would be odd and out of place....
