At least there's a solution to the Internet ads with Adblock and email spam detectors. My idiot housemate apparently keeps giving everyone our mailing address and it's gotten so bad it's to the point where 90% of the letters that come in are just advertising. It's a massive waste of paper but corporations are still doing it. Does it even make them any money?

A few years from now on Dateline,

“A man could no longer stand his roommate receiving junk mail took drastic measures to end this issue. Watch now in Dateline…”

“In a small suburban town in Middle of Nowhere America, on a balmy Fall a sinister event happened.”

Yeah I think I'd vote for whoever promises to outlaw junk mail. Regardless of how crazy their other positions are.

How is it legal for companies to just say, "here's a bunch of trash, you deal with it!"

Who are the retards responding to junk mail and signing up for their offers?
So at my company our marketing people send out all this junk mail and they claim that it drives people to buy from us.

But I'm skeptical. I think many of those people were going to buy from us anyway, and they're just taking credit for it.

I don't understand why rumble send me so much mail. I changed the settings too to no avail

In the UK you can write return to sender / addressee not known / similar on the envelope and post it back for free, as long as it's unopened. I expect it's the same in other countries.

At least junk mail doesn’t sometimes come with a link that can destroy your computer.

I don't get those emails in the first place. My antivirus deals with that. But I have no solution for physical junk mail. It's just a waste of my time.

Many years ago there was a don't send me junk mail list you could add your name to. It works, but you still get junk mail from businesses you do business with like phone company, cable company, insurance company, bank.

they are going to spin hard into the "adult male roommates... probably a lot of homo stuff going on... possibly a love triangle".

Probably the same retards happily forking over banking information and best buy gift cards to Microsoft employees named John Smith with thick Indian accents.

Nothing is worse than spam calls…..
