I have a mutual friend of Baroni. I met him several times. I 100% believe him.
 
Seriously, I love me some Baroni, but after the Chris Leben bare knuckle "fight" in 2018 he should have been banned from any kind of fighting sport involving strikes... I'm glad he was replaced by Julian Lane against motherfucking Thiago Alves in BKFC's latest event...

The guy has a 16-19 record, he really benefitted from getting in on the ground floor and having the look of a bodybuilder

Seriously though, didn't Baroni admit to turning up drunk for the Leben fight? It sure looked like it. The guy is clearly in a bad place. I hope he gets the help he needs, whatever it is.

the fights where he controlled a fighter on the ground to win a decision???

put any guy except top guys from the UFC in there with him and he would've done that
 
I would believe worked fight allegations overseas to help SE Asian fighters or foreign guys who have enough leverage to work something to set up a bigger gate down the line. Askren is none of those.
