Like it or not the UFC is the premier mma org on the planet and has been for a while now. If a fighter wants to build a lasting legacy in the sport, they fight in the UFC. His analogy is a bad one because Durant and Lebron are both in the NBA. They aren’t spending their prime years playing ball in Europe and neither should Kayla.

2 fights instead of 4 isn’t that far off. Kayla Harrison won two of these tournaments and still wanted nothing to do with them.

Sure I would hope any athlete would read the contract that they sign. But all that’s advertised to the public is the “$1 million dollar prize!!!!!” for winning the tournament.
