Pfl standings round 1

I gotta say I picked a lot of these fights wrong there still another round. Who do you think you will win it all now?

There was pretty decent upsets, Siler winning, Shields and Khabib's cousin losing ect. I actually like the format and have enjoyed most of the fights but I worry is it sustainable. People aren't gonna always be available to fight just 4-6 weeks after a win or loss. I worry are they gonna need replacement fighters in the tournament and how the points will work. 2 guys I'm definitely rooting for are Maxim Grishin and Brian Foster
 
There were some shocking upsets in these first rounds.

MW: Abus looked like a real killer. Still very suspective about his grappling though.

LW: Not much changed. Harris still the big favorite, but everyone is rooting for Foster.

LHW: Very shocking. Rashid was probably the favorite to win the tournament. Now he's out with a broken jaw so most likely he out of the tournament. I guess Maxim is the new favorite, especially with how extremely inconsistent and specialist Vinny can be.

HW: Still looks like the Rockhold show.

FW: Palmer looked awesome against Magomedov. Timur underperformed. Harrison obviously still the favorite.

WW: More like Welter What the Fuck!? Sheild's brutalized. Abubakar uppercutted and strangled. Holy hell that's the two favorites with a loss right there!:eek: Abubakar still looked really good though, and could still win it all if he avoids getting injured. Magomed and Joao looked dominant yet have checkered past performances. Ray Cooper III committed murder but still has a lot of question marks (and an underwhelming record) Bojan looked good too.

Rashid losing surprises me the most he thrashed the 205er that tko’d Tybura thought he was take it all
 
Can someone explain how LW has five winners and seven losers? I just have missed something.

Efrain Escudero won his bout, but was ineligible for points since he came in 6 pounds over the weight limit.

Still weird how Efrain and Shawn Jordan's situation were counted as losses.
 
Just watched some of the fights.

Beautiful hype train derailments by Kusch and Cleveland. Kusch looked sloppy but got the job done in spite of the dirty low kicks. Glad to see them get humbled.

Shields is looking old, these explosive power punchers are terrible match-ups for him. Feed him Abubakar so he can get back on track.

I like the format of PFL.
 
I love PFL format but i hope they actually pay the 1 million at the end so we can see a season 2.
 
yeah, I am liking PFL more than I thought I would. But considering Ali is involved, I'm skeptical all the gold pots will be at the end of the rainbow.
 
Oh, I love this, so many upsets in WW...
No news about Tavares? If I understood right he was injured after his 1st fight....

Harrison fights at FW I think.
Rosholt is too chinny and defensivly liable to win imo but he sure has a chance

Nah, but seriously, Yusupov dominated Cleveland R1, he just got a bit tired and then had that freakish jaw injury due to a shoulder strike.
