The MRC Audit and Accreditation Process
The central element in the monitoring activity of the MRC is its system of annual external audits of rating service operations performed by a specialized team of independent CPA auditors. MRC audits serve these important functions:

A ratings system is supposed to be fair and accurate. How can ratings include the supposed number of people watching an app for 1 service ESPN+ and not include people watching Showtime app? The ratings system has been flawed and those ratings companies have been investigated by the MRC over the past year and their accreditation suspended.
