News PFL has released Patricio Pitbull

Pico and many more want ufc opportunity.. so grant it 😂

Pico maybe cause he's a free agent but he'll have matching clause, they wont release that for him.

Lets see if he's for real or not cause I dont think for a second Mix, Eblen etc who have complained will be released if they ask for it. Pitbull was a strategic move to look good but he was also gonna be a free agent in a few months and is 37.

Yeah but none of them were complaining as badly as Pitbull. He was ripping them apart on social media. He's been giving them bad publicity for months, and the closing of Bellator was the final straw. They probably wanted him gone at this point.

Good for Pitbull. I'm worried though he'll go to the UFC, lose, and then people will say "see, these non-UFC guys were never good to begin with!"

That too, it was def a strategic move to look good and get rid of your most vocal critic but also someone is old, has already given the best years to Bellator and was gonna be some sort of free agent in a few months. If Pitbull were 33 and had 4 fights left on his contract even with the complaining they wouldnt release him.

Now you let him go and you move on with the younger crop of fighters, maybe you resign Pico to fight Timur or something.

Who is this bum calling him out? I doubt Pitbull wants to sign to some bush league.

UFC will never give a half of what Patricio made in his last Bellator fights. If he perform well and get signed in the first place, he could end up like Micheal Chandler, with given opportunities.

I doubt he sign to KSW, Parnasse would be the favorite tough.

Just a paradoxal problem, in boxing, they can fight each others but do not want to, in mma, they want to fight each others, but cannot too.

Top 5 Opponents for Patricio Pitbull if He Signs With UFC:

Aljamain Sterling, Yair Rodriguez, Diego Lopes, Ilia Topuria, Alexander Volkanovski.

And then we will reply to them with Buckley, Volkov etc who got cut from Bellator and are top 5 in the UFC and they will shut up and realize these guys are old haha.

UFC will pay you if they deem you worthy. Pitbull 3 to 4 years ago would probably be a no brainer for them.

It will be interesting to see if the UFC offers him a deal and what kind of money.

Pitbull was always good I just dont personally think he would have ever been UFC champ if he fought there. I dont think he would have beaten prime Aldo, Max or Volk but he could have won alot of fights, got multiple titles fights etc. In Bellator he's the GOAT and all that but in UFC he might have just been Chad Mendes, Benavidez etc. Always at the top of the div, beating a ton of guys but never getting over the hump to be champ.

But as his age right now theres fun fights still left for him, some he can win, some he'll lose. Hopefully UFC gives him the chance. It sounds like Pitbull is willing to take something less to finish in UFC. We'll see what happens.
