PFL 2 July 29th Everett Washington, Harrison, Shields, Okami Full Card.

Great bjj and judo display in Okami vs Lobato. Both did some nice tecniques uncommon to see. Okami¡s tds looked better than ever. Still I think Lobato has proven he is one of the best out of Brazil in his weightclass, hope he gets into PFL league next year

Just realized I am watching a replay lol. There is another replay after this and they replayed WSOF 35 last night!

Looks like NBCsn has confidence in PFL.

PFL really tried to give some of their stars a chance to shine against some weaker opponents, and none of them could get the finish lol

This event was no where online and not on cable TV in my area.

Despite my best efforts I still haven't figured out how to watch this.

This card was an abject failure. I watched it in its entirety on fast forward mode and didn't miss anything interesting. PFL needs to get its stuff together, not a good start to the promotion. When their biggest stars are shields, fitch and okami, there's only so much they can to.

But, ugh.

I think PFL/WSOF consistently puts good cards together and that they develop champions as well as anyone outside the UFC.

I'm not saying yesterdays fights delivered, but a card with Jake Shields and Yushin Okami headlined by a new and exciting champ in Andre Harrison isn't going to generate a lot of complaints from me. Especially when knowing the context that they've just lost Moraes, Gaethje, Branch etc.

WSOF put some great cards, althoug not regularly. Still theu used to put a card of the year contedner out of UFC every year they were around. They did a very good job in creating home-grown stars and champions too

Yesterday there were two very good HW bouts, especially Sopi vs Torgeson, but also Copeland vs Kyle
Shields dissapointed me as I was expecting a submission against a very subpar opponent, but the Okami fight was actually pretty good, Lobato surprised me. There were some impressive trips and scramblings in that fight. If that's not the kind of thing you enjoy in a fight that's on you.
Rodriguez made for a pretty good match against an unbeaten top prospect in Harrison, who along with Blagoi Ivanov, is the most interesting champion PFL has at the moment imo

Oh you guys, how funny you think I'm trashing on WSOF as it once was, you don't need to scurry to defend the promotion from my criticism.

On the contrary, I'm looking at PFL 1 in Daytona (a card they started early unexpectedly so it screwed up my recording of the event) and PFL 2 (last night). It's why I said "PFL needs to get its stuff together", because yes, WSOF was good, and yes they lost some of their great fighters (three big ones), but both of these events have been a chore to watch when I finally could watch them. Fitch's ninja choke was about the only highlight of the past two cards on NBCSports.

In fact, I can say that I watched every single WSOF card, including the Canada cards, and even some WSOF GC cards, can you say that?

Harrison, Okami, Shields, and Santos all fighting back to back? Yikes

As bad as I assumed it would be back on page one. It was worse. Imagine being a matchmaker and your bosses are like. "So we got Shields, Fitch, Okami, Rosholt, and Harrison. Make this work."

Yeah they are a mess with shedules and other stuff. Im just saying the quality of the fights arent that bad. Fich vs Foster was a good fight not just for the choke. Yesterday there were some good scraps too.

Yeah it was overall pretty mediocre. Pair this with the time fiasco on the first event and there off to a rough start.

Harrison, Okami, Shields, Bruno Santos. They really should not have expected anything differently. Although I guess by facing lower level guys, maybe a sub could have been expected.

I like some of those guys, and WSOF/PFL, but they really shouldn't be putting a card like that together.
