he's never clearly been wobbled during his career even before the whooping he took vs RDA. He took big looping right hands from Shane Roller that got him wide eyed. Took some heavy shots from Jeremy stephens as well. The ass whooping against RDA was ruthless but he never looked to back down even once. Against Barboza he showed a phenomenal chin eating those left hooks and his eyes looked stunned for a split second but he never at all wobbled and not to mention his body durability he showed as well.

He pulls out more than John Holmes...not durable

Think he's talking about his chin..

That one hook from Barboza made his eyes roll back and he was fine a second later. It was crazy

He's very durable, I agree.

All-time, though? That's reserved for people like Ben Rothwell who take overhand rights from 240+ pound monsters and don't give two fucks.

He needs to go to 145.

He dislocated his shoulder
or broke his elbow. I forget...
There's an interview with rofous
speaking on it. Pettis was still
a teenager. The dude who broke
his arm was a full grown man..
Two minutes later, pettis ko's
him with a headkick.

Definitely a durable dude.
But he hasn't been the nail very
often throughout his career.
He has managed to have clear
answers for most looks fighters
have given him. Which makes
this decline all the more baffling.
Either way, definitely deserves
his props. But he's no edgar, penn
or even alvarez- who seem to
battle back from hell in every
other fight of theirs.

Yeah he has one of the best chins out there and underrated toughness. I've been saying it for a while now

I nominate Sean Sherk...41 matches, has only been finished twice.
