Because I think one of the reasons he was so off at rda fight was seeing his brother getting ko'd right before his fight.I'm not saying he would have won otherwise but it was definitely a factor of his bad performance.

It'll be a good excuse if he loses again.

seemed like a bad idea to me last time - rinse/ repeat

Why not? They can at the very least save on gas by carpooling. Plus, the other one can go out for blood after seeing his brother lose.

When you cant soley focus on your own shit its not a good thing.

Anthony needs to not care for this not to affect him. Which i dont see happening. So no this is not a good thing.

If Sergio wins it will be a big momentum boost

If I was Pettis I would not want my little bro fighting before me...

Well they both get to train together and peak at the same time. There's that advantage I suppose.

Also Rufus can't possibly be giving them both all the attention they need if they fight at the same time.. So who knows.

I don't think Pettis brother losing had anything to do with how he fought.

We've seen it 3 times in the UFC now, he has a problem with wrestlers. Granted he's beaten a few great ones in spectacular fashion. I think it's pretty clear Sergio isn't going to reach his brothers success at all.. who knows though, people said the same thing about Nate.

He said it was a factor after the last fight. He also said he'd never fight on the same card as his brother again. Looks like he was wrong.

He fought Eddie Alvarez and lost without his brother being on the card, so he disproved his own theory as to why he lost to RDA.

Yea it's way to early to be making claims like that about Sergio. He's only 22 right now. He has plenty of time to improve.

nah RDA would have beat him even if his brother had won or wasn't there, its just an excuse

That overhand left changed Pettis whole facial expression RDA swipes off the lazy Pettis jab and makes him see a flash of "Jesus" for moment as he looks up towards the heavens. RDA is a bad, bad, man...

He was reminiscing about his brother getting his ass kicked earlier that night.

Uhh wow I wonder if UFC is just trolling him.

It is fucked up to see your teammates lose before you go up, let alone your brother.
