Media Petrosyan - it was a lucky punch

it's crazy how fragile the ego of so many fighters are. martial arts is supposed to give you self-confidence.

that's one thing i always disliked about mma culture, the lack of class starting from the "tap out" days. im not into the whole zen, spiritual stuff of martial arts or anything, but there are so many fighters that make me go "this guy is a martial artist...?"

petrosyan should be grateful for this fight and the result since someone can actually recognize him from now on

He fell like a chick breaking up a fight between two pimps.

He's embarrassed now has to field questions from his kid etc.

Unfortunately class doesn't stick to everyone sir.

lol

He's a fighter, he is of course gonna feel like he could have continued if given the chance. Plus it's pretty humiliating to end up as a highlight reel that is going to be shown over and over forever.

So the guy is just trying to save face.

His REAL MISTAKE, was getting in there with the Pirate in the first place. He should have prepared himself ahead of time for the fate that was to befall him.

Applying that logic, every good strike by an one eyed man is lucky. He was lucky all fight long.
