ROAD FC CEO Jung Moon Hong has stated at the ROAD FC 32 post-fight conference that ROAD FC has just signed Peter Aerts and Jerome Le Banner for the next 8 man Open Weight Grand Prix. He said that ROAD FC would have these tournaments every year similar to the PRIDE Grand Prix and K-1 World Grand Prix.

I fucking love Aerts and Im happy he is getting those checks.. but he kind of sucks at MMA. Le Banner was always a little better at MMA IMO.

The average age of this tournament will be really like 40 LOL.. but a lot of legends there.

Cool hopefully they just fill it with kickboxing mma guys so they can compete. Le Banner, Aerts, Manhoef, McSweeney, Kharitonov, Buentello, Peter Graham, and Konstantin Gluhov. Obviously Kharitonov would probably roll through but it'd be some fun striking matches.

There's a couple younger guys from K-1 competing in mma like Ewerton Teixeira (sp?) and that champ I forgot his name but maybe they can snag one of them and put some youth in this thing.
