Year 1: Make professional debut. Go 5-0 (+3k)
Year 2: Make regional debut. Now 8-0(+10k)
Year 3: Make UFC debut, 11-0 with a few bonuses. (+100k)
Year 4: Get into title contention and win the title. 14-0 (+250k)
Year 5: Defend the title 2 times and retire. 16-0 (+1 million)

After taxes and paying team, lets say you have about a million. What do you do next?

If your smart you should def use the fame gained before even winning the title into seperate income,so you have way more than a million at 16 - 0

Plus no one is going to retire at year 5 at 16 - 0
Most people would consider that a complete waste, rather than a perfect career, which doesnt exist by the way.

All you can do is try to win the GREAT GAME(GSP.Mayweather,Lennox),and no one is going to retire at 16 - 0,with only 2 title defenses....too many more moves to be made. Other divisions possibly. Superfights.

is this a real question by a nearly decade old account?

Begin co-starring in third rate action films with Rousey, Bisping and Carano. Earn world renown.

Connors Career would have been perfect, if he had beat Diaz the first time, won the LW Title, beat Mayweather in boxing then come back and beat Khabib and retired.

Obviously he had the 3 Losses, but he actually had the nearest path to a perfect career.

Tax Free Municipal Bond Funds, have dividends sent to your house every month. PROFIT

You might be my 2nd favorite poster after Arm Barbarian. I rarely see a post of yours that I disagree with

He would NEVER have been able to pull all of that off,so its not worth thinking about. There is no perfect career. You can only do the best you possibly can and make the smartest moves and fight the smartest way with your talents.

See: GSP

True bushido spirit is to go out on a loss
Thats what people say when the guy they didnt like, managed to go out on a win.

"What about Bushido??" they asked GSP

<GSPWoah>

"What ABOUT it?" says GSP in luxurious retirement

"They" had no response.

Yeah Joe scolding him right away is cringe to listen to.
