A long time ago, there were masters in the arts, and people looked up to them. They believed with talent and effort, they too could become great.
But even the early masters got tired of all that realism and applied their skills to new forms of art, which look as if they take less skill, but really, they require a mastery of the basics and a well developed artistic sense.
People used to try to be skilled, even back when there wasn't much to compare it too.
But for some reason, our culture has moved away from this, instead using artwork like expletives, to convey the simplest emotions in the least skilled, often illiterate terms.
What's happening to us?
