So one lucky punch from conor 20 years ago somehow changes the fact he just got fully outclassed by dustin a few months ago?

It was not calf kicks. They were not very detrimental for Conor, and he catched them quite effectively later on. Also Poirier is not better boxer, and it isn't the case that his boxing played a deciding factor. That fight was a repeat of Diaz fights, but Poirier has killer instinct and power which Nate doesn't has. And after dominating the beginning of the fight, Nate also had similar situation when he went on the offensive. But he is not a finisher, and Poirier is. Poirier is the toughest and the most ruthless slugger in lightweight and you can't passively defend agaist him and let him attack you unanswered. And since McGregor has only meager chance of knockout, he will inevitably slow down in the end of 2nd or in 3rd round, Poirier will beat him to tko. And calf kicks, boxing or any kinds of punches are completely irrelevent. It is just a innate qualities of fighters which can not be altered, what will always result in Poirier's win by TKO.

it sounds like you're referring to the second fight.

Seems you don’t understand that you are speaking about what happened in the SECOND fight. You are also way off.

First fight is more like a Prologue. Like a fight number zero. It is completely irrelevent. 7 years before and in different weight.
Hahahaha. I come to Sherdog to read dumb shit. Thank you. That and your TS were high quality manure.

Conor mentally folded at the discomfort of those kicks. Its what McGregor does any time he's forced to deal with any sort of pain, fatigue or adversity. He's the biggest frontrunner in the history of the sport.

I thought he was DQd for back of head shot?
Dairy Queen'd. They have a good 3 taco lunch.
Damn. Its almost 2. No wonder Dairy Queen sounds good right now.

You're right in part but leg kicks didn't let conor run away and move as he wants so you're wrong on this...i'm pretty sure conor is so confident this time because is quite unlikely that will happen again

The calf kicks were far and away the single most important weapon used in that fight and the main reason conor wilted.

Say whatever you want about attitudes and being a finisher etc etc. Whatever.

The calf kicks did conor in and he had no answer once he had no power in his hands or weight on his front leg.

what is fully outclassed to you? Conor was winning the majority of the exchanges. He ate far too many leg kicks that were his eventual demise but I’m not sure how someone can say conor got outclassed. In fact the fight made it clear that they’re the same class. Early on it looked like Dustin was in for a short night

This might be the worst 'analysis' I have read on Sherdog in a long time...

Conor wasn't really knocked out, his legs gave away, he fell and then ref simply had to stop the fight. I don't think Conor lost consciousness even for a second

I saw it this way too. Conor got his legs taken out and was hurt. Then was hurt due to punches. I didn't agree with the "Poirier legitimately KO'd Conor" madness. Not that it takes anything away from Dustin, but at least be objective.

Conor was getting countered in the exchanges and his one dimensional game plan That has only gotten worse over time of only relying on his left hand failed him and he got steamrolled by a fight with better cardio and a more diverse striking ...that sure sounds like fully outclassed to me.
