People don't seem to have any idea how good Bobby Green is

Yes he lost to Barboza, the worst matchup in the entire division for him: a blazing fast and technical guy who strikes from the outside.

But I have seen so many picking Poirier over him, even so-called "experts" like the guys who host the Heavy Hands podcast (this following their fantastic pick of Almeida over Garbrandt). They not only suggest Poirer would possibly get a KO (highly unlikely) but even suggested he might work takedowns, which is hilarious because trying to take down Green is like tying to take down a fucking brick wall.

The Vegas oddsmakers have Poirier as the favorite but that is simply because he has much more name recognition and is on a win streak. None of that matters in reality of course when they fight tomorrow.

I doubt Green will finish but he will cruise to a comfortable decision.

I always said he was severely underrated, now if he just fights smarter....................... He beat Josh Thompson, in a close fight, I may have even scored it for Josh, can't remember. But that fight alone, proves to me he can hang with the championship level fighters. Josh Thompson beat Benson Henderson in my opinion. And Poirier has been finished before, I think Bobby Green has the edge here. I don't think Poirier could hang at the level of fighters Green has been fighting. Like Barboza would probably KTFO Poirier.
