People dont really hate Mcgregor

You
Holloway was a nobody when Conor beat him, was coming off losses to Bermudez and Poirier. Mendez took the fght on short notice and by that point Conor already got his title shot, with a win over Dennis Siver.

He was given favorable matchups and a quick path to the title. Ferguson meanwhile is on a 10 fight win streak and ufc still refers to him as an intern champion lol.

You got an excuse for every fight of his. What about Dustin poireir, Jose aldo and Alvarez. Those were favorable? Those are tough guys, no?

Im pretty sure i dont like mcgregor or his fans... He has great skills as a fighter thats certain but that isnt enough to combat all the bullshit that ensues his diva ass... The man is a walking contradiction and not a real fighter.. Just a money whore in fighters clothing..

And Maia has some of the best bjj, but let him fight enough different types of opponents and suddenly he doesn’t look so great. One trick pony can look great against a good matchup, but like a fish out of water in a bad one. Conor would have never won a title or even competed for one if he had to work through the ranks as everyone else.

The true greats pass the test of time by beating a variety of skill sets.
I always felt Conor did enough to earn his title shot. Really, the only person you can say he was able to avoid was Edgar and there's no clear cut moment where that was the fight to make and he blatantly ducked it. I still want to see that fight actually, and think we still might.

I agree with what you say about match ups, but I don't agree with the Maia comparison. If 'dry land' (in your analogy) is standing up for Maia and being on your back for Conor, then Conor has shown a much better ability to get back to his own relative 'water' than Maia. I don't think we've seen Conor truly out of water like we have with Maia. To Maia's credit (and I am a huge fan, which I don't often say about anyone), he has only looked truly fucked at the very, very top level of the sport, because he's taken more chances to be embarrassed.

Dont even bother mate. Conor fans are too thick and deep into his balls to realize that
Conor is exciting, charismatic and a killer, so I get why he has so many fans. Hell, I enjoy his fights, but I do think things need to be looked at objectively. And I am not sure if turning your back is worth a point (I think it is) or not or it is multiple times before a point. I am just curious how people view that action and the magnitude it can have on the fight. I am trying to get to that point more than discrediting Conor. But I do hear you on some fans having a ridiculously biased view.

They hate his delusional fans that believe hes the real deal.. the man is the biggest overrated hypejob in combat sports history in par with anthony joshua except he talks shit and joshua is fake humble thats the difference. They keep eating his lies and pathethic bravado. The man at best is a slightly above average fighter if he didnt duck biggest contenders weightbullied short little people and get the favoritism of biased judges. Great businessman he got rich and pushed and protected by the UFC good for him but his fans are very immature gullible people. So easily convinced. Its no surprise that AJ and Conor fans are the same people.. They attract the biggest casuals to their sport.

I was a fan of mcgregor back in 2012 but you guys ruined it for me.

We love Conor because he believes in himself. It just like man with cancer believe he will survive that is Conor who fights with injuries bad cardio and other shit and still talking and believe in himself. That inspired me to start training and believe in myself. Thanks Conor for all that but now I hate him seeing him drinking and not training. Inspiration is gone so I see a lot inspiration in boxing not soo much in UFC this days

May, Diaz x 2, and if you wanna be exact, even Aldo.
Are you high ? Alvarez fight was his last fight in MMA. and he got carried in boxing if floyd wanted he coudlve finished him in 30 seconds but for once he wanted to be liked and give people their moneys worth. first round he threw only 6 punches and landed 2 and 2nd and 3rd round were similar those were the only rounds that conor "won" it was a fake match. HA

Hmm if it's his fans they hate then why are they constantly shit talking Conor and not his fans? Stupid thread lol

B-But Conor wanted to fight Edgar at 165lbs when Frankie was scheduled for a 145lb title shot against Max !! So much balls on conor!! Trying to fight out of his weight class again!! Admirable.
B-b-b-but Conor controls all the cards, and as such, he can ask for whatever he wants, such as the opportunity to become the first ever three weight champ. Put your hate at the UFC for not stripping him and WME. Conor is the greatest family providing, money making and life winning MMA fighter that we have ever seen. Blame UFC.

I guess i shouldve added the word MOST. but we are shit talking conor in spite to their retarded comments as a revenge for their annoyingness. they make me want to gouge my eyes.

you know what. as funny as it sounds i actually also kind of got alittle bit inspired from him at the start in 2012-2013. he was my 2nd most favorite fighter first being GOAT SILVA.. but ever since the clowning at a legend like ALDO i hated the guy it was really tasteless and disgraceful like farting on Aldo and taking his belt away and his retarded fans going all wet and after diaz choked the soul out of him i was officialy distanced from him and later found out more things like he was weightbullying at FW i was a casual before but now i know.

Are YOU high? The statement was that Conor fought after he won a real title (Aldo or Mendes). Tyson Fury won a lot of "Cage Warrior Titles" but no real title until Klit. After then, after beating 'his Aldo', he went runnin'. Can you dispute any fact of this? Conor fought four times minimum, while Pussy Fury fought 0. Can you dispute one single iota of this?

He won the title form Aldo, so that doesn't count as a fight AFTER winning the title. Since winning the LW title he hasn't had an MMA fight. Calling a shitty boxing match a fight isn't fair to MMA at all and his Diaz fights were a side show. When this bum defends a title people will actually care about him, until then, lets just consider him some retired fighter that people used to know and is using twatter to keep his name in the casuals mouths.

the guy origially put the alvarez fight picture which was his last mma fight after the alvarez fight he went hiding chasing fake match with floyd that he had 0 chance to win and didnt do any thing it was staged ot give people their moneys worth he wouldnt survive even 30 seconds in reality if floyd wasnt playing

because most of his opponents were shit. you can knock out a homeless guy on the street and look like MIKE TYSON because he wasnt skilled in defense. Nate Diaz the journeyman bum outboxed him. since then he didnt want to take any risks.
How did Nate outbox him? Even in the 1st fight Conor was way way ahead in the boxing department until he gassed, chin + cardio is what won it for Nate, Nate rolled well with the punches too tbf but no way was he outboxing him.

I believe you should lose a point if you turn you back to your opponent as a defense while striking. You contribute a lot about striking, what are your thoughts on that?
I hate it. I have actually gone on sherdog rants about how that is 'day one shit' in a boxing gyms. I've seen sparring sessions stopped mid round to correct that in a new guy.

Should you lose a point? That may be heavy handed... and the only reason I say that is because people usually do it when they're in a lot of trouble and it's really not a good strategy for offense or defense. The reason I hate it because it's bad strategy and it shows you got yourself in a bad position without knowing how to get out. Now if you're doing it over and over to actively avoid the fight completely, then I can see why you'd lose a point for timidity. But again, if you're just doing it to get space to 'reset' because you're out of position, id still advise against it, but I can't fault a fighter for escaping a single bad situation/exchange/scramble to the best of his ability.

yeah i dont discredit conor that much hes exciting looks good when he throws punches but without all the BS hes just a decent above average fighter which isnt even a bad thing in the first place. I get really tiggered when they even put him above Silva and call him goat ughhh i just wanna strangle those guys.
