People crying about Khamzats performance......

Yeah the crying is excessive, DDP just turtled the whole fight and is very durable

I had the first 4 rounds 10-8 Khamzat
absolutely

I was shocked when I heard the scores announced.
That was a crystal clear 50-41.

A 10 – 8 Round in MMA is where one fighter wins the round by a large margin. A 10 – 8 roundin MMA is not the most common score a judge will render, but it is absolutely essential to theevolution of the sport and the fairness to the fighters that judges understand and effectivelyutilize the score of 10 – 8. A score of 10 – 8 does not require a fighter to dominate theiropponent for 5 minutes of a round. The score of 10 – 8 is utilized by the judge when the judgesees verifiable actions on the part of either fighter. Judges shall ALWAYS give a score of 10 – 8when the judge has established that one fighter has dominated the action of the round, hadduration of the domination and also impacted their opponent with either effective strikes oreffective grappling maneuvers that have diminished the abilities of their opponent. Judges mustCONSIDER giving the score of 10 – 8 when a fighter shows dominance in the round eventhough no impactful scoring against the opponent was achieved. MMA is an offensive basedsport. No scoring is given for defensive maneuvers. Using smart, tactically sound defensivemaneuvers allows the fighter to stay in the fight and to be competitive. Dominance of a roundcan be seen in striking when the losing fighter continually attempts to defend, with no countersor reaction taken when openings present themselves. Dominance in the grappling phase can beseen by fighters taking DOMINANT POSITIONS in the fight and utilizing those positions toattempt fight ending submissions or attacks. If a fighter has little to no offensive output during a5 minute round, it should be normal for the judge to consider awarding the losing fighter 8 pointsinstead of 9. Judges must CONSIDER giving the score of 10 – 8 when a fighter IMPACTS theiropponent significantly in a round even though they do not dominate the action. Effectiveness instriking or grappling which leads to a diminishing of a fighter’s energy, confidence, abilities andspirit. All of these come as a direct result of negative impact. When a fighter is hurt with strikes, showing a lack of control or ability, these can be defining moments in the fight. If a judge seesthat a fighter has been significantly damaged in the round the judge should CONSIDER thescore of 10 – 8.

It was a fine performance, but pretty boring. Not really a complaint, more of an observation

I know some of you are upset ddp spent more time grounded than a teenage girl at an epstein party but i have good news....there is this thing called power slap. Theres caucasus wrestlers to ruin your fun... just 2 warriors in the purest form of combat.

The ONLY think that shocked me about Chimaev yesterday was how long it has taken him to get the belt. In all honesty, the man has been ready for a long time now. I think it will be a long reign.

Honestly the fight sucked.

Shut the fuck up about GSP.

His fights sucked as well.

Nick Diaz Vs GSP was fucking terrible.
<notimprezzed>
The only people crying...
are the people merciless defending Hamfat (and making threads) for stalling out DDP in multiple crucifix positions.

Those little bitch rabbit punches were laughable.
DDP laughed and smiled after.

This fight was a boring wrestling match without a finish.

Decisions are not wins at this level.

Nobody tuned in to watch lay n pray to allah.

Pathetic fight, Matt Hughes had more finishing instinct.

<{hughesimpress}>

This fight reeked of Burns and Usman (again).

If Hammy finished DDP, he'd get my praise.

That fight was a pathethic... And if it was so "dominant" there would've been a finish.

End. Of. Story.
Yeah it’s Khamzat fans doing the crying here <lmao>

Take a walk there guy, some sunlight would do you good

I've honestly never seen somebody get that many dominant positions and do that little damage . So no, people didn't always do that.

Yeah it was the worst ever until like next month when theres a new worst ever for people to get outraged over. We had people going crazy over how boring Torrez Finney was just a few months ago when he landed 4 significant strikes across a 3 rounder. Last year we had the big anti-wrestling meltdown after Sean got wrestlefucked by Merab.

I was watching some old MMA from 1996 the other day, Tom Erikson vs Murilo Bustamante, the fight goes to the ground in the first 10 seconds and stays there for the next 18 mins with less damage being done than in the fight we just saw.

Its always happened here and there, the sky isnt falling.

I was pretty impressed by the effortless wrestling and cardio he displayed... but then I am also a huge GSP fan.

My take is I was thoroughly impressed with Khamzat but ultimately bored because of the lack of aggression.

I think Khamzat could have finished the fight multiple times with GnP but he chose to hunt for subs that DDP was defending well.
