Which institutions that affect your day to day life are run by conservatives? Not the department of education or universities that shape your opinions all the way into adulthood, not the entertainment industry or news media that shape your opinions in adulthood, not mayors of major cities, city council, DA office, local regulators, not corporate CEOs, not the permanent administrative state in DC(which was meant to not be a state, but purely the federal center and is now the most solid democrat voting area in the country).

Where is this conservative power that would make that poster "the dumbest person on the internet"? Because the current president and a slight majority of senate are republican? Those switch back and forth and are the people with the least effect in your life of all of them.

The military guy was only walking that way (that slowly and carefully) because Trump was and it would have looked rather poor if he would have passed Trump up. Trump undeniably looked very unsteady, however I agree that the story has been blown up too much.

Before Trump it was not PC to call political rivals childish names. People with class call that acting with decency. Trump opened Pandora’s box, you don’t get to cry when you don’t like it being heaped on you.

It's not heaped on me, I don't care who you insult, but I certainly will point out that it's only in one direction.

So the exact same thing wasn't done to Bush? FFS, they made a parody cartoon on comedy central called "lil Bush". They accused Ronald Reagan of having dementia. The audacity it takes to pretend this is some new thing is astonishing. This isn't just because it's Trump, it's just ramped up because trump is the first guy who's actually rude back. Nobody would have written in Trump, he won because people were sick of being talked down to and shit on by self appointed superiors and that was the first guy who actually hit them back. You still don't get that people don't like Trump, they just hate you.

He’s an old man going down stairs . What do you expect? I hate Trump as much as anyone but he actually moves pretty good for someone as old and as fat as he is. It is funny that he dignifies it by responding to it. He loves the attention. I can imagine that little wife of his lying alone in her own bed while he drools over pictures of himself flashing across a screen.

How about instead of a debate just have them walk down a series of increasingly difficult ramps for a hour and a half and whoever falls or shits themselves first is declared the loser?
