It will let the electorate know what Republicans are going to support him regardless of his actions and give them more information about Trump to make a decision on who they want to vote for. It might be the tipping point either way for all the moderates and independents that are still on the fence.

For Trump and the Ukrainian President to allow their recorded conversation to be provided UNREDACTED, I think there's a more than good chance this turns out to be yet another nothing-burger.

Even Pelosi herself stated that even if there's nothing there, there's still other avenues they can explore (so basically she's already prepared for nothing of consequence to be revealed).
