I'm starting to want this shit to happen just to see a few people shut up.

It makes me think.

I do know one thing though. Boxers condition themselves for a 12 round boxing match way, way differently from conditioning for an MMA match. Body type has a lot to do with it also. Silva is, in the mildest sense of the word, flabby and RJJ has maybe 2% body fat for a boxing match.

A boxer does not need as much of a complete muscle set as an MMA fighter does therefore they have less drag when it goes to the later rounds. I don't think Silva hasn't even gone 5 rounds in an MMA fight, so RJJ can possibly do body work in the first six rounds and go for the kill in the last 3. Silva's gonna have to KO him within 6. That's possible as well. He has a size and reach advantage. I don't think he hits as hard as Tarver though. Silva got tagged by Hendo cleanly early in the fight. I think if it were RJJ punching, Silva would at least be knocked down.

Predictions are useless anyway. Let them fight already. It would be good for both sports regardless.

I would think RJJ would be stronger, he has more muscle and stockier frame.
Plus the guy is ripped, friggin chiseled, while AS is lanky with not much muscle definition, but has real snap on them punches.
I beleive RJJ could outmuscle AS with the right training.
He would be able to outbox him, and more importantly outfox him.
RJJ is crafty as hell, or at least he was.

possibly the most retarded thing Pedro Fernandez has ever written and that's saying a lot

no, that IS the website.... ^ LOL. You just think you got redirected to some informerical site.

Hey men, I never come to the boxing forum but was so fucking frustrated in the HW forum over idiots thinking Silva can beat RJJ I had to come here.

Does anyone here believe Silva would win or is this a more educated forum?

I'm a huge boxing fan and have never heard of Pedro -- that said when did Pedro see Silva box to make such a statement?

HAHA exactly.

Listen, Silva is a great fighter but he literally has no chance to beat RJJ in boxing even considerings RJJ's age and current boxing ability.
