Looks like they are going after Trump Charity now.

Here’s the sad thing about the Russia probe, in the investigation to find if the Trump Org collided with Russia, the SC is going to come across decades of illegal activities the Trump organization has done and his base will find everything meaningless because all of that happened before the election.
 
Lastly, if Donald Trump wanted to lock Hillary up he should had made her part of his cabinet.

I'm sure lots of people noticed this, but Trump & Associates are so corrupt that @Quipling 's thread gets fucking recycled like every other day!

I've always wondered how far that will go with the cult of Trump. Would a video of Trump punching babies for fun derail their support?

Looks like we're going to find out if it can go way further.

There's no amount of evidence that would sway certain bots.

I have to point out a couple of things.

This probe is outside of the Special Counsel. This is being headed by the SDNY.

Also Trump's charity is being investigated by the State of NY which is outside of the DOJ and Trump can't pardon anything that comes up from that.

There are 3 separate investigations into Trump and the one he has the most ability to influence is Mueller's

I agree, but I think the % of the country under the spell could shrink. So instead of something like 1/3 maybe it's 1/4? That would be an important shift politically.

I worry that whatever is found by a NY investigation will be dismissed by half of trumps supporters as "oh it was just a politically motivated smear"

Like Trump is already deflecting Manaforts crimes saying "He's a good guy, it was unfair they went after him"

It's too much work to ask the public to read court transcripts, assess facts and evidence, and be lead to the same conclusion as a jury. It's why we generally have to accept what a jury concludes as 100% truth.

That leaves a pretty big loophole for people who want to just dismiss the findings of guilt by a jury, and never have to see the facts themselves.
 
To verify. Am I supposed to be mad at the National Enquirer for sitting on stories?
