Cohen pleaded guilty to a violation of federal law. You're echoing dershowitz, who argued that Cohen's actions did not constitute an actual violation of federal law, because the federal law should be interpreted in a way that doesn't encompass them. That argument hasn't been upheld in court and most of dershowitz's peers think that it's incorrect.

The payments in question were shortly before the election, not ten years (and, importantly, not initially by Trump). And, contrary to your whataboutism, people aren't ignoring the payouts by congress, either. Farenthold had to resign for a reason.

According to the one juror there was one lady who held out and couldnt be convinced no matter what on the other 10 charges. Not sure if she was a Trumper or not.

There was one female holdout who wouldn't convict on all 18 charges. A fellow female Trump supporter on the jury and the rest of them tried to talk sense into her, but she wouldn't budge. There were probably 4-6 Trump supporters on the jury, but even almost all of them got it. But there's always that one asshole. Regardless, they probably re-try him on the remaining 10 charges, and there's a good chance he gets convicted on those too. He's obviously guilty AF. Even most MAGA people on a jury can't get around that.

I thought I read the juror on Fox said others werent convinced at first either then the prosecutors brought in multiple boxes of evidence that wasnt presented at the trial which pretty much solidified Manafort was guilty beyond all doubt.
