Interesting machine they sold 300 of them in one hour or something? It lacks vacuum, liquid cooled spindle but the 3000 dollar price point in more consumer space. I don't plan on manufacturing mine but they do use linear rails on all axes but lack ball screws on all axes. Reason for ballscrews is to eliminate backlash a common problem with ether belt driven or low costs CNC tables. My base is competely covered with aluminum plating and two layers of MDF. There has been long delays getting them out as I am sure those first 300 want their machines so they keep putting out insane looking updates.
This is my latest DIY-CNC carving. Ratatouille theme I made myself over days of adjustments. Still got to clean it up an add nodymium magnets in the back an stain. First time I cut the piece out of the wood.
