Peak Johny Hendricks would have destroyed the best moderns Welterweights

Johny Henricks at his peak would have wrecked the modern welterweight fighters.
He had better wrestling and better striking than all of them especially in the knockout power department.

If a guy like Masvidal was to have the advantage on the feet Hendricks would have just mixed up the game plan to win like he has in the past against certain opponents, plus Masvidal can be chinny at times.

Usman and Colby wouldn't have been able to outwrestle him and would get knocked out on the feet.

Against Woodley, Hendricks essentially was the better version of him in all areas plus a more diversified attack and way better cardio.

Hendricks was a beast on his time, his KO power was great but a little bit overrated considering that his last KO was in 2012.

There is no proof he was on anything. It was just other fighters suspicions. The same suspicions were raised against Usman. There is just as little proof.

Hendricks had a short peak, so hard to really pin it down. Had him winning gsp fight. Oh well, if anyone fought him at that time they probably would have lost but probably only within the span of that year. Pretty much pre titile hendricks rekt, then he was done

 

When he was on that run he looked pretty unbeatable. Crazy how fast it seemed like overnight he just went completely down hill.

 

Literally never been KO'd before in his career, but just keep making shit up.

I dont think Hendricks offensive wrestling was so unstoppable, particularly by more capable wrestlers than Condit or Magny.

 

prime hendricks was a flash in the pan but his wrestling up there as best ever to enter the octagon and when he was mixing it up with huge bombs he is elite at a level above current WWs like GSP

 

The same interpretation can be made with how Usman reacted to Colby's claims he was on PEDs.

 

never said anything about usman and wouldn't be surprised if usman gets pop for EPO

 

Yeah, Hendricks was on roids, but Usman and Woodley weren't/aren't.
