Ah so that's how Gunn resolved the Peacemaker dilemma of fitting it in the new DCU - retcon.

From the trailers it seemed like Peacemaker was going to travel to the DCU. Instead they just gave a season 1 recap with everything intact except for the Justice Gang showing up instead of the Justice League.

They also mentioned a “metropolis incident which destroyed half the city” so I’m wondering if there is still some connection to the old DCU somewhere

I forgot who said that the alternate dimension is 100% white people but now I can't unsee it. Regular dimension really makes a point of throwing out an aerial shot of diverse kids playing soccer at the park and there's a fairly diverse ARGUS crew in the office as well as their field team. AU ARGUS office is totally white.

The s1 choreo had me dying laughing at the end when Eagly looks down for the X made of tape on the stage that represents his mark and shuffles forward to stand on it.

Him yelling at everyone and then dropping a full on serious line about how Titties was almost killed had me laughing out loud. His timing has been so effortless, for anyone else the humor would feel forced.

Harcourt is crazy hot and in shape as usual. Vijalante is my favorite character easily. When he goes to the party and they mention climbing up a fire escape and he just busts out laughing cracks me up so hard.
