I'll gladly bet you we see at least 1 indictment

Ohhhh. One indictment! I'd think you guys were looking at multiple criminal convictions, given how excited you're acting.

I guess you need to set the bar really low though, for when nothing comes to pass.

@SBJJ

Darkballs, aren't you a government employee? If you are, then that's in keeping with this axiomatic truth:

"Leftists always project."

No. I'm in a portion of the private sector that actually turns a profit and doesn't have to rely on the federal government just to stay afloat.

And no one needs the media to tell them that this stunt is a useless distraction that knows it will find no criminal activity, but seeks to further slander the reputations of people that dared to conduct lawful investigations into trump.

I mean, we've been saying that for about a year now. I'm not sure how you think "they're all waiting on the media to tell them what to do," is a sick burn, when you have to wait on the tax dollars of liberals just to keep food on your table.

The people who attempted a coup of a sitting President based on a conspiracy born out of sour grapes over a lost election, probably need to spend the rest of their lives in prison.

You're just upset that the shoe is now on the other foot.

History will remember this time, not as one with a retarded and corrupt president, but as the time we nearly had an attempted coup. A coup that no one will go to jail for, and was uncovered by a combination of right wing media outlets and welfare queens.

Like you lefties were saying for the past two years, we need a thorough, complete, and robust investigation.

Your ilk had been telling us how unjust the notion of limiting an investigation is, now it's time to leave no stone unturned.

Don't worry. If the left and those who attempted this coup have nothing to hide, then they have nothing to fear!

Well, it depends on what Obama knew, what he said, and the strength of the evidence. It’s possible that Obama committed a crime, and he can be indicted now that he’s out of office. The big question for the institutionalists is whether indicting Obama does more harm than good to the executive branch. If the evidence is clear and overwhelming, letting Obama skate arguably harms the executive branch.

I think Barr is an institutionslist, and a big separation of powers guy. Refusing to enforce the law right now is (a) a dereliction of the executive branch’s function, and (b) ceding authority to legislative branch (since Democrats are essentially demanding that he not investigate these crimes). I think he realizes that we are at a crossroads as far as public confidence in rule of law. I don’t expect him to go soft on anyone except Obama, because Obama won 2 elections.
Thanks, man. Very solid and educated info. Things will get interesting in short order.

Trump gives AG Barr authority to declassify documents related to 2016 campaign surveillance
raw

The title of the thread needs to be fixed :

UPDATE Trump Gives AG Doument Power

"Doument"? Sounds NSFW.

Man I can't believe Mueller is refusing to testify. This shit only keep getting more and more entertaining.

Probably because he knows that the Republicans in that committee will ask him questions he doesn't want to answer.

I bet if he was told he would only be asked "questions" by JUST the Democrats, he'd agree to testify. <Jaime01>

Shit's shadier than a Solar Eclipse. <13>

He will testify in private. Also there are whispers that he only wants to answer questions about his report

You forgot to add :

He only wants to answer questions about his report TO DEMOCRATS, Not Republicans.

Dems are having a Schiff fit. How can releasing more information be part of a “cover up”?
What will crazy Nancy do now?
Should be hilarious .

The proverbial "chickens" have finally come home to roost.

Trump has said constantly he will release the FISA info over and over making many of us think he's just bluffing....

THANK YOU, POTUS, FOR NOT BLUFFING!!! :meow:{<buffer}<Goldie11><{JustBleed}>

Oh fuck off with that
We are in version 34 of public opinion
Jesus Christ

Now, now...

Be nice to @LangfordBarrow .....if you feel like it. <{Heymansnicker}>

Unlike the dicks here we know (hillseslovak, Barry "Homer" Dillon, Mike McMoronn, andnowwedontknowshit, Milesabove, etc.), he has been pretty reasonable in his arguments. He sounds like a Centrist, actually.

Are you a centrist, @LangfordBarrow ?

And because if he does go after Obama, it will be a "Barr is a Racist" narrative.

Weird that your threshold is convictions yet you cant stop the TDS over Trump and his non crimes

Get back to us when CNN and MSNBC tell you what the new narrative is. This shitposting is not a good look

I've been reading about this for a few weeks leading up to this. Here's hoping we get some real justice.

Leading into 2020, we are going to see some crazy fireworks.

Damn, Jerry Nadler passed out at a meeting or conference in NY. I do not agree with what he's doing but I hope it is not serious

Dehydration was the cause.

He's fine now.

I want his sorry ass out of power but I never desire to see another Human Being(or Semi-Human in Nadler's case) to die or anything.

I believe myself to be. More fiscally conservative but socially liberal. I have zero faith in Trump though so to some I am the enemy.

That there is nothing to fear for democrats is a certainty. Just sad to see you and your ilk support such a blatant distraction. You know nothing will come of it, but it serves to muddy the waters around actual findings of misdoings.

But I guess when you're going to refer to the Mueller investigation as a "coup," you've already cast your honesty right in the waste bin.
