Edit: Jones won't fight Aspinall or Pavlovich, he'll destroy a shot Stipe.. claim he beat the GOAT heavyweight in his prime and retire super GOAT.. (he's a smart guy)

That's the problem with his 6 first round KOs, he was never tested on the ground, so we don't know. We already knew Gane sucked on the ground because of the Francis fight; we don't yet know on Pav.

Blaydes had a low fight IQ, standing and slugging with him then panic wrestling when he got hurt. Sad.

If Pav is any good on the ground and in his TDD, he will smash Jones.

I doubt Jones will have the balls to fight him.
 
That fight didn't tell us much about Pav that we didn't already know, so I'm still not sold on him being the guy to beat Jones. Blaydes looked gassed in about 2 minutes, and his single TD attempt was weak as hell.

Regardless, it doesn't really matter as Jones most likely retires after Stipe, win or lose.

they ain't making that fight simply because Pavlovich is a nobody. but i agree, if he any kind of TDD he can be a real problem.
 
I like pavlovich alot but there is no incentive for jones fighting anybody other than stipe or Nganou.

people bringing up blaydes pavlovich and aspinall. 2 of those guys suck and pavlovichlooks good for todays landscape. Those guys would be hard to get up for for one of the greatest of all time who has a fight or two left.

and pavlovich for some reason wasn’t calling jones out.
blaydes is a wrestler and look how he approaches fights like this.
You couldn’t have a worse gameplan which blaydes does constantly.
