Paulie on 'Hug Man' tactics

Think so?

Maybe, Bradley seems good, but unproven.

I still say Zab would demolish the competition at JWW. Until he meets hatton and even then, Hattons wide open style leaves him open to those uppercuts.

consdering zab hasn't demolished anyone lately i can't imagine how anyone could think he could just go down a division and beat the best.

funny too because i actually think zab figured out how he has to fight to maybe even win a big fight at 147.

bradley went across the pond and beat a guy whose been a stylistic nightmare for many, then beat a middle of the road guy but i liked what i saw in that fight. bradley was walloped and kept coming. he looking to make a name and his hunger is a reason why i see him staying at the top for awhile. plenty of champs have the tools but didn't know how to use it consistently or didn't know how to keep them sharp. IMO at this time in their careers bradley does and zab does not.

Zab hasn't demolished anyone because hes given up hes speed and thinks hes a puncher. Thats not working with Cotto, Clottey or guys like MArgarito if he ever got there, but look at the top 10 at JWW. I think Zabs power would be more relevant at that weight. Its not that I think Zab would magically gain something hes missing, I just think its a better division for him stylistically and competition wise.

Hes already beaten Witter. I'll give Bradley some credit, I just haven't seen but 2 or 3 fights from the guy. Hatton would be tough but look at the rest? Torres? lol MAlignaggi? lol Holt? Come on. Zabs a talent who is getting eaten up by bigger talents at WW. Tha talent isn't there at 140.

Paulie Malignaggi is set to fight Ricky Hatton this coming November 22nd. In a recent interview conducted by Thomas Gerbasi of MaxBoxing, Malignaggi laid thick criticism on Hatton for holding and hitting and also blasted the media for defending Hatton's dirty tactics.

Malignaggi tells Gerbasi:

First off Hatton hooks and hugs Zab to death. Zab will make that fight dirty.

Zab versus Clottey was close. He put his puncher first mentality to the side and tried to box a little more than he has since entering 147. But again...Zab made the decision not to continue. If he actually tried to wear his opponent down with body shots, then I could see him moving and shaking at 147. He should've kept the guy who was actually training him for Clottey instead of Dr. Boom Bap. Boom Bap puts up with his excuses. HOF'ers don't know what excuses are.

Zab and Torres: In any fight Zab's in he can end a guy at anytime with one punch and that includes Torres. if torres takes the fight deep, Zab will be the one sleeping. That's how little faith I have in Zab late in fights. Torres hits like a brick shithouse. Holt vs Torres 2 : Sweet Headbutt Rated R.

I think Zab takes Holt out.

I don't know why you think Paulie has zero chance with Zab. I see Paulie making this a close one with the usual Zab fading late.

Zab Bradley: Zab would be stupid to take this fight. Bradley is made for the long haul and puts on consistent pressure. And as stated before, Bradley is hungry to make a name. Put a name like Zab in his face and Bradley is motivated even more than he is already.

Zab is a talent (physically) but IMO doesn't have what its takes to be consistent enough to dominate anything anymore.

Well, I bet we'll never really know. I like Zabs style, so I stick up for the guy, I think his fights are great. Something always happens. The WW division has just been getting deeper and deeper though. Too many guys with tough chins. I don't think its the styles that beat Zab, he just can't hurt anyone at 147.

Sadly, I predict Zab moves to 154 before long, and then its over.
