Media Paulie Malignaggi has the Ronda Rousey punch technique

I mean... you can’t really judge someone’s boxing skills based on still shots of them shadow boxing to warm up.

*but also at least one of those pics looks worryingly bad, ha.
I wonder if he’s working on a different angle/placement for bare knuckle. I was taking to a Lethwei dude recently after I saw some video footage of him hitting the bag with his hands at weird angles, and he was saying that his hand placement was better for piercing bareknuckle guards, and was better for keeping his hands from breaking

I thought I was the only one who noticed his wrist bending while shadow boxing. Its a really bad habit some people have.

I still pick Artem because of paulies fragility
Wtf...Paulie was pretty well known for his toughness, where do you get this from?

He gets it from hating Paulie due to being a Connor fan like the rest of the board that wants to hang on to the hilarious notion that Connor is such a good boxer he totally tooled and knocked him down

They had it tied up but it eventually came loose from Paulie getting hit

Do you wonder though?

Coz it's been explained why, and repeated many a time on here.

There's a documentary based on MayMac, the footage will be included, I've heard the doc is being held back coz there's a real chance of MayMac 2 unfortunately.
Until it happens I am skeptical. There are no people more full of shit than Conor and Dana.

I find it strangely weird the way MMA fans hang onto Paulie in general. Between Conor and Lobov MMA fans are really invested in building up Paulie as some kind of prime boxing star who was exposed by MMA fighters. Paulie was stopped in 3/6 fights. His most recent fight he was stopped by a can who no one has ever heard of. He's old...and never had a lick of power in his best day. The lowest KO rate of any champion probably ever. Don't get me wrong. I like Paulie. But the building up of Paulie's rep on here for the purposes of Conor and Lobov is pretty silly. #CASUALS.

I at least hope Pauli got paid a substantial sum to get beat on like that.

Now that I think about..... I don't care if he got paid anything.
Yeah man, releasing 10 still frame pictures and refusing to release the full 12 round video definitely indicates how badly Conor beat on him, lol.

I mean they clearly don't like each other so why not release the video to thoroughly embarrass Paulie and let everyone enjoy watching him get beat up for 36 minutes by an MMA fighter...... Unless of course the video destroys this narrative.

The fact Paulie had such a good career considering how little punching power he had, shows how talented he was.
He was never elite but a very slick boxer.

A lot of MMA dorks about to get another lesson they’re too stupid to learn.

No wonder his hands keep breaking, he throws them wrong. Snap city especially bare knuckle he might actually drop to the floor in pain when hitting Artems hard head.

Here are photos of him training for Artem Lobov, I heard there is actually a betting line on if he breaks his hands or not.

seems Paulie is going to try and Eye Gouge Artem, we know Paulie has no class he already spit on Artem and slapped him, I wouldn't be surprise if he tries to eye gouge him

He's throwing hands with the intent of hitting the target only with the first two inner knuckles that are the strongest. This kind of punching technique actually leads to the least amount of injuries when you're punching someone with zero protection. If you punch someone with only the first two knuckles connecting, you don't even need to close a fist fully. I'm not sure about boxing, but this is how they punch in traditional Karate styles like GojuRyu - a style where people do a lot of hard makiwara punching with zero hand protection. Believe me, Paulie knows what he's doing.

I thought I was the only one who noticed his wrist bending while shadow boxing. Its a really bad habit some people have.
He's bending the wrist because he wants to prevent the two outer knuckles on his hand from hitting the target. These knuckles are the weakest ones and if you punch someone hard with them connecting, you have a good chance of breaking your hand. The wrist is not the weakest link in your hand/arm when you punch someone.

I see the boxing casuals have zero idea what they are looking at once again.

Shadow boxing with open hands is done for a reason, to relax the hands, you can punch faster with relaxed hands than a clenched fist, try it for your self, you want to clench your fist at the end of the punch. its about speed, accuracy and technique, open handed shadow boxing is something that has been done by many boxers since forever.

Oh look all time great, hall of famer, undefeated p4p Andre Ward, Shadow boxing open hand, That ronda rousery technique SMH
