Patricio Pitbull's contract ends in less than a year and he's not happy with Bellator

If/when UFC signs him, who should he fight first and do you think he could work to a title shot? Last fought in April 2017 and still has no clue when he will be fighting again despite wanting 3 fights this year.

Stephie Haynes: How long is your contract for, or more specifically, how many fights do you have left on it, and do you think you’ll explore other options when your contract is over?

Patricio Pitbull: My contract has some conditional provisions, so we could be talking less than a year or more. I don’t know yet what I’ll do next, but there’re some things I’ll want to see from Bellator before I make my decision.

Stephie Haynes: Do you think Bellator fights you enough?

Patricio Pitbull: I don’t. If it was up to me, last year I’d have fought no later than August and then in December, and this year I’d be fighting three times again. But I still have no idea when I’m fighting next.

No way he gets a direct title shot. I'm not familiar with him... but if he's all that to even be considered for such a thing... they will feed him to one of the gate keepers at the most.

The FW division is stacked as fook, & has people holding a secondary gate as well.... so he might end up with one of them.

With Pitbull gone that will really open up the division in Bellator for a new champ

I've always liked the Pitbull bros and have been a fan of theirs for years. They're cool, funny guys and have been with Bellator forever

BUT it might be time to move on. Plus I think a lot of us have always wanted to see at least Patricio in the UFC

I think the UFC picks him up and he makes the move.

Bellator has a certain amount of money budgeted for purses every year. It's not enough to give anyone the number of fights they want.

I know I know. He's been in a ton of wars though throughout the years and I just don't think he's as crisp a fighter as he once was. Gets rocked all the time now when he used to dominate and control with his boxing.

He'd still be at least top 10, I'm not trying to shit on the guy, but having watched the guys entire bellator career since he ankle locked Will Romero back in the day, I confidently say he's a bit shopworn.
