Is Pitbull the biggest power puncher in FW division? If not, who is?
Names, pics, gifs...

I could see Pitbull beating Aldo but at the same time the only person in the FW division I see beating Pitbull is Aldo

I'm not a fan of Bellator, but there are some guys I really like.

I honestly think Pitbull could beat Aldo. He should be top 3 FW for sure.

I bet aldo can punch harder than freire, he just doesn't swing as wildly.

i hope we get pitbull vs. winner of strauss wilcox.

Pitbull def top 3. Maybe even 2nd

No way i would have Lamas over Cub

1.Aldo
2.Mendes
3/4. Patricio or Cub
5.Edgar

Pitbull vs Lamas would be a great fight for Patricio to showcase how damm good he really , Cub is the guy that would give him most trouble IMO

No way you'd have Lamas over Cub after he schooled him in the cage?

Doesn't matter who you like

Lamas mauled Cub when they fought

I think Pitbull would own all of Team Alpha Male - Mendes, Dillashaw, and Faber. He's a fellow short stuff with good grappling but more advanced, natural striking accompanied by even more power. I loved that last over-hand right against Curran. Pitbull walked into the pocket, baited Pat to be offensive, then ducked down and let it rip with full leverage. That would have knocked out the high majority of fighters, including probably Dillashaw, Faber, and Mendes; who have been ko'ed themselves. Never happened to Pat, though. He's not as tested, but seemingly can take a strike because of how big he is for the division and his recovery training.

But I don't see Pitbull beating Aldo. Aldo would use his superior reach, kicks, and speed to stay on the outside, score, make Pitbull chase him, and ultimately tire him out. I think Paddy Mike would be the more interesting match-up there for his ability to fight on the outside given his jabs and kicks, as well as his cardio. But he'd still be highly likely to lose, especially given his nervousness. The moment could be too big for him.

Hopefully Bellator doesn't have that much longer so we can see these match-ups like these and the many quality fighters in the organization get their long overdue respect from the mainstream.

Really dislike Curran so this made me happy, great job Pitters!

Why even bring up Faber and TJ? They are BW. Pitbull would do to Faber what Aldo did.

I think Mendes could beat him, I think Cub and Edgar could beat him and Aldo would beat him.

What a joke. Did you even watch that fight?

Cub absolutely dominated the first round before getting caught in the second.

He hadn't fought in a year and was coming off injury in his first fight in the UFC and made a mistake.

He'd win the rematch easily.

I brought up bw because he's short and that might be the best path to a title as a result, instead of just being a contender.

He wouldn't lose to Mendes. His style is practically that whole team's kryptonite. A bunch of wrestlers trying to get really good at striking, when that's been Pitbull's biggest strength for a long time. They're playing catch up. And he practically can't be taken and kept down at this point. So I don't see many outs for those other guys.

Edgar he'd knock silly. Pitbull has similar advantages there as against the alpha male guys. Edgar's footwork has been proven it can be timed by such juggernaut strikers as Maynard and Bendo. Pitbull has a better ko ability and timing than them.

Cub, that's not a good match-up because he has solid tdd, range, and diverse striking. I'd probably pick him to lose. And it's a few match-ups like that which is why ultimately I'd project him to move to 135. That doesn't mean you're a failure. Just not a champion like only 1 can be, and if you can be the 1 in another class, why wouldn't you be? He might be a mini Aldo at 135.

I wish the UFC could trade a few more Bonnar types to Bellator for guys like Patricio and Curran. I don't know if Bellator knows how to use guys that are just great pro-fighters, tbh. We'll see though.

Aldo

Mendes
Swanson
Pitbull

That's how I would have it. I hope to GOD the UFC finds a way to work something with Frodo, because he is one of the best in the world as well. Curran is also really, really good. So is Straus.
