See, this is just the thing. One quotes MMA is the 'acid test,' for all arts (inc. striking). Then, there is a 'subsection' for MMA.U maybe didn't get that there aren't subsection just for MMA fans....
And you know I love MMA as a fan, spectator. Though the quality of the competitions today disappoints. But there's a series of women's MMA title fights which I just think is the bees knees, to borrow a phrase. As really captures issues multiple posters have discussed recently on TSF. Great entertain w great martial arts(in the acid test setting).
Me, I just want boxing basics now. Found another video of a trainer demonstrating on the heavy bag, beginning w the jab. I'm having trouble seeing all this value of the jab (a la Freddie Roach, boxing, et al). This trainer does a great demo of the jab AND has all the elements of basics working together... I say that's HARD.
A basic theme of what I'm posting here (instead of "'TMAs' can't handle a jab"), is basics aren't basic.
