Exactly. People find any reason to talk shit about Pat just because they find him "weird" or are jealous of him. The dude has been nothing but classy and respectful to everyone and he clearly loves Rose more than most of these guys will ever "love" someone. I guarantee you he prioritizes her needs and happiness above his own.

It take 2 to tango! When u ask a girl why did you break up with him, her answer is usually because he was a jerk. Then you ask, how long did u date him, her answer 5 years! So you just discovered now he is a jerk!!!! He looks like he has no self confidence at all and very needy!
 
Pat has always seemed like a cool dude. Their relationship is a bit weird tho. If you ever watch their videos it's often that Pat is acting like a little kid and getting injured or doing something dumb and she's the adult scolding him and talking about feeling like his mother.

What gives me a bit of pause is that Rose said on TUF that she was sexually abused at a young age by an older man (a relative I think she might have said) that made her feel guilty like it was all her fault somehow. And then afterwards apparently she hooked up with Pat as a minor possibly as young as 14/15 by what she said at one point (and it's not surprising if that was true that she hasn't said so again) or 17 at most. Maybe she felt she needed someone to protect her and perhaps he is very protective of her because she likes that. But it's certainly a bit disturbing how young she was when they got into a relationship, especially her having been sexually abused and obviously affected deeply by it.

Pat did have one of those inappropriate relationships with her but he is immature so I guess it is ok?

He had a bad problem with his use of pain-killing drugs. She had to get tough with him to deal with it. He has since that time gotten off of them, apparently. A happy situation, actually.
