See, the problem with most of those is they are ironic, not particularly funny. I mean, the gay thing, that's pretty macabre, right? Conservative hypocrisy has a more laughable lean. Preach against homosexuality then do meth with a gay hooker? Funny. A bunch of white guys discussing abortion rights? Ironic and funny. Trump's constant lying to protect his ego? Funny on a couple levels.

I think on at its base, comedy is about mocking the establishment and existing order, and conservatism is usually about maintaining it. Here in Canada we had a show called Royal Canadian Air Farce which poked fun at both sides, but to be fair this country isn't yet as polarized.

Imagine a skit of liberals begging for refugees and the ones getting off the plane have a isis flag, suicide bomb, and a woman on a leash.

A skit of a small european town over filling with people, no food. And liberals with signs saying more refugees.

Or a liberal sports team thinking they are the best, because they have the most multicultural team. No skill, but better because they are more diverse.
All get trophies.

I feel the same way about liberals. They just aren't funny. Bill Maher's version of "comedy" is slowly overpronouncing the F word while a bunch of beta looking dorks clap, amazed at his daring boldness. They are too repressed to be funny and it comes out as awkward teenage rebellion at age 45.
