Crime Parents Charged After Pitbull Bites Baby's Head Open

Not trying to argue, but just throwing out an interesting article I read. Drone footage has sort of upended thinking of how often sharks are close to people in the water. It shows time and time again that sharks can be actually seen in the viciinity of surfers/swimmers without incident. So that doesnt even count the times that they are nearby without showing up on drone footage.

I forget where I read it, probably national geographic or something. But its literally made marine biologists say "Damn. We were off on that one."
Sharks are not fucking afraid of people. I’ve lived on the beach for probably two decades of my life and they are very present and very not worried about people. If they wanna take a bite they will and might

They were when I lived there in 2013 with my own pitbull, which was acquired due to a former asshole roommate abandoning him with me.

He was super well trained luckily and I never ever brought him anywhere off a leash, even a dog park. It was all the unleashed microdick dogs I had to worry about, which their owners would constantly walk unleashed because “she’s ok. She’s no threat”

To which I would answer, “but you’re going to get my dog killed for killing it mistaking it for a toy. Please don’t let your dog run up on my dog.”

Anyway yea I’m pretty sure they’re still illegal, it wasn’t really enforced, but it could be if they wanted to.

I liked in sailboat bend area Fort Lauderdale with him for a bit as well and occasionally shitheads from sistrunk would come try my door knob. Ajax shut that shit right the fuck down, it was great.

I’d hear the scrape of his paws on the concrete running and then the crash of his face into the glass door followed by barking from hell and door people would quick-bounce. I did enjoy that

Just checked and seems the pitbull advocates won and a state law was passed in 10/2023 that no country or municipality can ban dogs based on anything including breed.

Interesting enough, article reinforces my statement about Broward. Great, so because broward has a shitty dog problem, Miami has to accept them.

“we are afraid to give up the dogs we cannot handle and need to give up because other people realized they are shitty and too much to handle *le sigh* “

Zoom in: The repeal of Miami-Dade's ban could bring relief to shelter overcrowding in neighboring Broward County, where dog owners say they are afraid to surrender certain breeds due to the restriction.

Florida, and Broward largely, has a shitty people problem that they embrace with open arms and for-profit prisons. I found south Florida to be a very dangerous place regardless of any dogs.

Not calling you shitty at all.

I’ve just never seen so much violent crime anywhere else in my life and travels

I had a pitbull from age 2 until his death at age 9.

He never attacked anyone and never killed anything.

I can not say the same for many cats I owned prior.

How do you feel about guns?
I love guns of peace ✌🏿

Such a misnomer it’s like the propaganda of Oppenheimer’s bombs being the weapon of peace, the war to end wars: you don’t end wars with wars and you don’t use violence to create peace. It’s a ridiculously ironic stupidity of logic.

Owners should have to have a license to purchase. Pass deep background checks and personality tests. Ex cons, low wage, low skill unemployed, more than 4 tattoos (or any tattoos on hands or neck and above) steriod usage, drug usage, wear diesel or any other ghetto urban, gym brands or pro sports jerseys outside of an event, high school education (or less); also, vocabulary and elocution tests, order of operations testing, and many more...

Fall into anyone of those categories or fail any of the tests - automatically banned from owning the breed.

I didnt say they were afraid of people?

Parents should be charged. It's great to see people held responsible for their stupidity.

I would never trust a full-breed pitbull with a small child.. something about them loves to kill smaller prey. It's unfortunate and not their fault, but once you have a baby in your house that animal has to go.
In my experience pure-bred animals of any type are extremely low "IQ" and have behavioral "quirks", maybe "oddities". Scary combo here.
