Yeah. It was bad. After about the first 6 hours it became evident she was in the clear and they were just holding her more for observation and to be safe

I kept trying to tell myself “She’s the healthiest baby in the nicu” because she was off cpap and just had some extra oxygen. Then no assistance for a day but they sadly wouldn’t let her out of the nicu to be in recovery room with me and mom. We could only go visit and then have to go back.

Another bad part with all the covid stuff, no other family other than me was allowed there. So all the grandparents got was a text from me “she’s having trouble breathing, being sent to NICU” and then I was silent for like 4 hours focusing on baby and my wife, but they were all of course freaked out without any further updates for a while

This is so true and it's not funny. Hopefully Perry steps up to be a good father and at least waits until the kid is a teenager before sparring hard.

We have 1 son who is awesome but costs a lot for daycare as my lazy ass in-laws, who are retired and live 2 miles from where my wife works, refuse to commit to watching him even 1 day a week.

I'm a lot smarter than my wife and I don't want any more kids. She wants at least 1 more and possibly a 3rd.

So what the hell do I do? Stand my ground and have my wife bitch forever that I didn't give her another or cave and have a child I don't want and that will take hundreds of more thousands of dollars to raise.

Moral of the story is don't ever get married.
 
Hopefully being a father changes this man. Hate seeing fighters going downhill no matter if i like him or not
 
I honestly wish him luck and hope this is an eye opening moment in his life that helps him grow up

That’s a fucking nightmare.

thankfully my wife had NO IDEA what was going on, but it sucked being separated from her (As I assume you were).

My wife was drugged up and when I got back, face white, totally spent, to tell her the baby was ok she was like “oh ok “ no concept of the hell I had just endured.

I was alone in nicu room, no other parents or kids, and what killed me is that no one would say “it’ll be ok” ... I guess it sucks if you tell someone that and it doesn’t work out.
Breathing machine, heart monitor, heat incubator thing... uggh.

That sucks. The nicu nurses we had were the best. Honestly like half their time was spent comforting and reassuring me that she was looking good and should just be a bumpy ride here for a bit.

I'm no fan of Perry...but I certainly hope that parenthood puts Perry on a better path and I worry for the kid.

When someone apparently can't take care of themselves, how are they going to properly care for a baby?

Of course, I wish him and his family health and happiness. Maybe this will be a turning point for him.

mike still has to much growing up to do him self. to be fair i think some of his behavioral issues are head trauma and how he was raised. but its like a child raising a child if we were to judge this based on what we have seen of mike in the media.

being exposed to rage induced outbursts, impulsive bad decisions making , aggression , violence, all that early on is bad. all it takes is one outburst early on to start to shift his sons psychological health. mike also isn't a good communicator, doesn't understand how to properly handle or diffuse bad situations on top of this the way he thinks about his relationship with the childs mom is immature or thats at least what hes portrayed to the public. the guy can't manage his income and his taxes. has a very simple savage way of thinking that does not mix with society in a good way at all. i don't want to shit all over him but some people should think before they have kids. shitty parents make shitty people it extends way beyond mike and his family and carries into future generations.
