Not a problem.

One thing people don't seem to consider is that this forum is up 24/7/365. There is no down time for site maintenance and updates and so forth, which makes it much more difficult for the admins to implement changes while keeping the site up and running.

The alternative would be for the site to be down periodically for hours or even a day or so for maintenance, and nobody would want that.

If you look through this thread and a few others here in support there are workarounds being proposed to try and maximize performance, depending on what platform your using, what browser, and so forth, but there is no one solution that fits everybody so you just have to play around and figure out what works best for you.

For me, it's nothing more than an occasional inconvenience. All this pissing and moaning seems a bit excessive to me. But then, I'm not a whiney bitch.
 
Whatever change they made recently totally messed with the forum. Tried the method everyone suggested and it works but "Page Not Found" keeps coming up every now and then anyway.
 
the page not found comes and goes. for about 30 minutes I couldn't access anything and now it seems fine. Just hang in there, hopefully they'll get the kinks out in a few days.
 
Can't open any thread but the link to sherdog.com/forums seems to have worked(so far).
 
I can't view anything past page 3 on this topic and have tried all of the solutions up through page 3. I'm replying to see if the last page will show up.

And for those thirty minutes, there was mass spamming and nudity everywhere. It was awful, BAM.

whoah, Petey must be getting some shit for this back of house. Forgetting to renew the .net domain name is surely at least a pay cut.
 
I haven't had a problem since I updated my sherdog.net bookmark to forums.sherdog.com.

Petey's been confined to moderating the Sprechen Ze Jive forum, which works out fine since he doesn't speak any languages other than English. I mean, how much harm can he do in there?
 
That's what they thought about Ronnie and the OT. Had to take the unban button off him.
 
probably doesnt mean shit....I disabled my AVG toolbar and things are working. Im sure it had nothing to do with it because im sure not that many people have AVG. I just wanted to throw that out there. Good luck
 
Loading one page takes forever and makes it feel like I'm back on AOL in the year 2001.
