Paul Calderon had it 4-3 Paul heading into the 8th (source:
). Silva outlanded Paul in the 2nd, 5th, and 6th and they landed the same number in round 4. Silva landed three less total punches in the whole fight, with much greater accuracy, and 15 more power punches (source:

It wasn't nearly as lopsided from a judging perspective as you're trying to make it sound. If we simply used punches landed per round to determine the round winner, it would be 3-3 with one round tied going into the 8th. How none of the judges scored round 6 for Silva is beyond me, as he landed more punches, twice the number of power punches, and was more accurate. If round six had been scored for Silva, he'd have been tied on two scorecards and ahead on one.
But please, using any sort of measurable or objective facts, tell me how he was "easily" losing the fight before the knockdwn.
