It would actually be the rubber match. And the second fight was one of the worst HW MMA fights I can remember save Hunt/Rothwell.

But yes I think even Econoreem is too much for Werdum. Plus I think Stipe beats Werdum anyway.

Happens my man. Back then Werdum was just a BJJ guy and Overeem had yet to ingest horse meat. First fight was a long time ago both guys daylight and dark different.

Werdum stopped econoreem already, and against ubereem at his biggest he still outstruck him and was never in any trouble--only lost the decision due to constant stalling/flopping to guard, and crappy judging.

And werdum has improved leaps and bounds since then, I don't see how this would even be a contest. Overeem is slower and weaker than he was in their first fight and werdum is MUCH better.

I was talking about the first fight guy. Werdum looked more than quite bad for flopping to his ass and scooting for half the fuckin fight. One of the worst things I have ever seen in MMA.

I would argue that Rafael Cordiero is a better planer than Greg Jackson. Also as a matter of the fact, to implement a plan I think, Werdum has better fight IQ than Overeem.

Werdum subbed him in Pride in their first match but I have a feeling that Overeem Vs Werdum 2 would go down like this:

Overeem would decision Werdum in a 3 round fight in where Werdum lands well on the feet but flops to the ground constantly and begs Overeem to come to the ground with him. Call it a hunch.

I don't think so. Who the hell told Werdum to stand and trade with Hunt? That was a horrible showing of fight IQ. Dude got dropped twice and almost went nighty night before catching Hunt with that perfect knee.

There were much smart ways to approach/fight Hunt than how Werdum did.

That was sudden change of opponent. So he took some time to make some adjustments. But the way he set up that knee to TKO hunt, You can't set up that Knee without having any Fight IQ.

LOL these 2 sentences not only don't go together they are totally contradictory. Crappy judging cost him the fight even though he spent half his time on his ass scooting like a toddler and the other half flopping to his back.
