Overeem by T/KO, round 2 or 3.

Can't fucking wait for this fight. Best heavyweight title fight on paper in the last decade IMO

I think this is a first round finish. Stipe is all business. he pushes the action. With the power and striking of these two, it's tough to see it making it past the first

Worst match up for Reem.

I like Miocic. And I like Reem.

I was sure Reem would beat Werdum. It was going to be a easy fight for him. A dude with no power will never be able to do anything to Reem.

But now, I'm going with Miocic. I like both so, it's a nice fight.

Stipe via sweet science

Either guy can get caught and KTFO....rooting for no one.

Are we just gonna pretend that Chong Li didn't get his ass handed to him at the end of that movie?

Hopefully, this will be just another of Alistanozol's many KTFO losses.

People are sleeping on the fact that Stipe has never faced an opponent with a elite arsenal of kicks.

Stipes traditional Boxing stance might get dissected by the Reems leg/body kicks in the opening rounds.

I think this is a big test for Stipe who would have to overextend to catch Overeem early.

Beautiful match up nonetheless

Sick freaking fight. It's gonna be what jds/Reem was supposed to be when it was first announced for the title. I think Reem takes it. Gotta happen fast though.

This fight comes down to experience and skill.

I have to go with Overeem. He's been in there with everybody. and has improved his tactics on what was already a dangerous skill set.

Stipe is good but I think Overeem can walk him into some traps.

someone's going to sleep, pretty hyped. inb4 Cain gets the next shot.

Overeem basically has to avoid a brawl in the 1st and he'll be fine. Control the pace like he's done in his last 3 and be effective with what he throws. 75% striking accuracy paints the picture. He's looking for openings and landing at will in fairly slow-paced fights. If Stipe risks gassing by throwing caution to the wind early he has a good chance, but that's a big risk in a 5-rounder with everything on the line. A slower pace doesn't benefit him, Overeem's too calculated with his attacks for a Werdum repeat being a likely outcome.

Clinching early and tripping Stipe down wouldn't be a bad idea, neither. Then again, Stipe might go for takedowns/GnP, which wouldn't be a bad idea at all. One factor also is Stipe's mental strength he showed against JDS when being in a tough fight. Kept pushing the pace in the 5th round despite being beaten up, and Overeem has lost before when his opponent doesn't fold. All this combined, this is actually a pretty good fight.
